Xavier Institute of Management and Research

This institute is also known as XIMR. It is the management school of this college. IThe India Council for Technical Education permits it This institute fwas ormed in 1963. The focus of this institute shifted to Supervisory and Managerial skills. After some time, its name was changed to Xavier Institute of Management.

It became the Xavier Institute of Management and Research in 2006. This institute trains managers with skills in doing business internationally and globally. The Centre for Africa Studies was started in association with Makerere University Business School in Uganda in East Africa.

Student Associations

In 1902, the Alumni Association was established. It is keenly involved in Fundraising, Career Counseling, and providing Scholarships.

The Indian Music Group was created to encourage Indian Classical Music in the city, particularly amongst the youth. It organizes Concerts, Seminars, Lecture-Demonstrations, and Music Appreciation Courses. The students of this college organize several hobby clubs like the Philately Club and the Star Gazers Club.
