CENG has become a flagship for Qatar University with almost Nine Undergraduate programs, Eight Master programs, and one PhD program with over 3600 students.

Gas Processing Center:

The objective of this center is to be the central point for generating and maintaining information and technology related to the gas processing industrial base in Qatar. This will create a technical and applied research potential that will complement the technologies and technical services provided by the multinational partners of National Companies of Qatar. This center is concerned with 2 main themes which are:

  • Asset Management or Process Optimization
  • Sustainable Development

The services offered by this center fulfill the necessities and challenges of the Qatar University & Qatari Industry which these are:

KINDI Center

This center serves both the Qatar and the QU community by promoting and encouraging quality research programs in the fields of Computer & Information Sciences and Engineering. This center is a structure to promote mutual and multidisciplinary research and international partnerships and provide supportive infrastructure.

Qatar Transportation & Traffic Safety Center

In 2012, this center was inaugurated and is also known as QTTSC. This center addresses the needs of Road Safety in the country. Road traffic accidents have major environmental, societal, and economic impacts on the economy. The 3 major areas of concern of this college are:

ChemE Car Competition

It aims to promote and encourage creativity and innovation among students. It motivates its students in the field of Chemical Engineering. This competition requires participants to plan & race a small car operated through chemical processes carrying a load of water 0g to 500g for a distance between 15 meters to 30 meters. Before starting the competition, teams are given information on the loan amount and a distance of about 2 hours.

H2 Sustainability Energy Solutions

This group is a combined plan by the College of Engineering and the College of Business & Economics at Qatar University. It is comprised of Engineering, Economics, and Policy Experts. The organization of this group is a natural expansion of earlier and continuing projects encompassing:
