Stanford University History

On 11 November 1885, It was established by California Senator Leland Stanford and his wife Jane. The purpose of its foundation was to promote public welfare by exercising an impact on behalf of Civilization and Humanity.

In October 1891, Stanford University admitted its first students. This university survived financially after the death of Leland Stanford, This university supported its faculty and graduates to build up a Self Sufficient Local Industry.

This would be known as Silicon Valley. It is structured with about 7 schools on the same campus out of which 3 schools comprise almost 45 academic departments at the Undergraduate level as well as four professional schools that focus on Graduate programs in business, medicine, education, and law.
