About Brown University

Its former name was Rhode Island College. Brown University is the house of Applied Mathematics in the United States and Engineering programs in the Ivy League. In 1887, it started master's and doctoral degree programs. The university contains:

Brown Library was founded as a research library in 1904. In 1968, Ray Heffner organized a committee on curricular philosophy. In 1969, a new curriculum came into existence. Its features are:
