Oxford University is a public research university in Oxford, England. It was established in 1906. It is the world’s second-oldest university. In 1167, Oxford rose quickly when Henry II prohibited English students from attending the University of Paris.

Its Motto in Latin is Dominus illumination and in English is The Lord is my light. In 1209,  after a misunderstanding between students and Oxford townspeople, some academics run away from the brutality to Cambridge after the establishment of the University of Cambridge.

In the war years 1914-1918, it became the military training camps and hospitals. Oxford gives tough time to its students in studying to grow mentally.
